Comprehensive Business Assessment


    Visette Inc. offers a consulting service packaged for small businesses that
    contemplate certain important decisions or just need to evaluate their company’
    s “overall health”.

    Situations are specific for each business, but a few examples of circumstances
    when our “Comprehensive Business Assessment” may be very valuable to
    business owners are:

  • intention to buy a small business;
  • intention to sell a small business;
  • planning to substantially grow a small business;
  • plan to restructure the operations for better performance;
  • need to reverse a trend of low profitability;
  • intention to approach lenders;
  • investigation of business aspects related to litigation;
  • intention to improve certain business functions – such as accounting,
    marketing or human relations;
  • preparing business plans; negotiating important agreements, etc.


    Our Comprehensive Business Assessment is a finite consulting service
    consisting of:
    (1) in-depth discussion with the business principals (owners and/or
    managers), followed by

    (2) analysis of financial and other data and information gathered from
    employees, customers, suppliers and other parties that interact with the
    business, and concluded with

    (3) a comprehensive report and recommendations submitted to the
    business principals during a face-to-face presentation.


    The Comprehensive Business Assessment comes in two “sizes”:

    A.  for very small businesses (up to 7 employees and no more than
    $750,000 in annual sales): the conversation with the business principals
    would take a total of 4 to 6 hours; the analysis of financial and other data
    (the gathering of additional information not included) would need a total of
    17 to 20 hours; the conclusions would be submitted during a 3 to 4-hour
    presentation. The total flat fee for this package is $3,540.00 plus
    GST/HST (plus costs and expenses, if any);

    B.  for small businesses (up to approx. 30 employees and no more than
    $4.0 Million in annual sales): the conversation with the business principals
    would take a total of 13 to 15 hours; the analysis of financial and other
    data (the gathering of additional information not included) would need a
    total of 35 to 40 hours; the conclusions would be submitted during a 5 to
    6-hour presentation. The total flat fee for this package is $7,590.00 plus
    GST/HST (plus costs and expenses, if any).


    Among others, the Comprehensive Business Assessment includes:

  • a “total check-up” of all business functions,
  • the analysis of key performance indicators,
  • an investigation of the validity and consistency of management practices,
    and
  • practical conclusions and suggestions for a plan of action, where
    applicable.
